Visual Thinking was commissioned to provide VM training for retail outlets within the Continuum Group’s visitor attractions, to improve commercial performance. The delegates comprised attraction store managers from Oxford Castle, The Real Marys King’s Close, Kent Life, Spinnaker Tower and The Canterbury Tales.
Delivered at one of the group’s retail outlets, the two-day programme combined both theoretical and practical merchandising training, including fixture and product placement and interactive tabletop activities. The delegates are now more confident in their VM roles, and have acquired new practical skills for improving store and fixture placement and presentation techniques. Following the training, the client has tracked a higher visitor spend per head and has seen improved sales across all retail outlets.
