Project: Brand Innovation - Malaga, Spain

    Brief: Small shops

Organised by the City of Malaga Trade & Commerce Department, the one-day event brought together marketing professionals from London, Madrid and Barcelona, with the objective of helping Malaga’s independent retailers compete with international brands. The brief was to equip delegates with best practice VM theory, processes and skills to deliver an enhanced customer experience and improved sales performance.

    Solution: Big ideas

Delivered by Visual Thinking Brand Director, Karl McKeever, the three-hour presentation included an in-depth demonstration of VM best practice principles and techniques, reinforced with visual examples. This was followed by a Q&A session from the conference delegates.

The aim was to demonstrate what good VM actually ‘looks like’ in a store environment, and drive home the potential of effective brand delivery and visual merchandising. All session content at the event was translated into Spanish in real time.

Delegates came away equipped with practical VM and retail display techniques that could be immediately applied within their businesses to enhance the customer experience and maximise sales. All delegates received a certificate of attendance.
