The Domoteka Mall in Warsaw is a specialist home furnishings destination. As part of the Inter Ikea Centre Group, it places great importance on its tenants operating visually outstanding stores. The client invited Visual Thinking to develop a unique training event for the mall management, store owners and their retail teams. The brief was to equip people to deliver the most rewarding and effective shopping experience for their customers.
Visual Thinking developed a highly participative, three-day event for 80 people. The workshop focused on best practice in the use of inspirational VM techniques and retail standards, together with a range of commercially proven sales management tools.
Following the training, the changes that have been introduced have resulted in increased footfall, improved conversion and excellent customer feedback for the mall. It has also strengthened relationships between the mall owners and their retail tenants as people work together to develop success. The project is one of many examples of how our ethos and way of thinking travels across international borders to improve performance.
