Profitable retailing is about responding to and adapting to change. A key part of this is ensuring merchandising methods are up-to-date and work hard to maximise selling opportunities instore.
Tie Rack has recently completed the first stage of a major store refurbishment programme. This has seen a smart, new retail concept being introduced in some of its stores.
As part of this, Visual Thinking were asked to review the store concept and advise how retail space, merchandising techniques and POS could be further optimised within the new look outlets.
After assessing the current VM methods used, we presented a range of simple and effective, low cost solutions to improve product handling, space productivity and the overall look instore.
After a successful trial period, our recommendations are now being incorporated into further rollout of the concept and into all other stores across the company.
It’s an example of how Visual Thinking can provide valuable support in the store design process. Ensuring new capital spending delivers the most effective visual and commercial results to maximise return on investment.
