Speedo wanted to ‘inspire the shopper’ and educate retail teams. Doing that successfully meant clearly defining VM guidelines to raise instore standards and consistent brand delivery across its own stores and concessions – ensuring the importance of VM, product presentation and customer service was clearly understood.

With 12 weeks to plan and deliver the final solution, we carried out a full review of all existing policies and procedures, in detail and at speed. We then created a series of practical VM set-ups within Speedo stores to help define what best practice looked like for the brand, with new guidelines listing key product features and benefits as well as assessment sections reasserting key messages, techniques and standards. Once complete, we created an interactive digital tool, translating assets into local market languages, including Chinese, to deliver effective implementation across the brand’s entire global retail network.
