Revitalising Tu Clothing

18 Months | 180 Stores | UK Nationwide | 60 VM Coaches

Successfully and simultaneously launching a new brand in 180 stores needs maximum engagement from those making it happen: store teams. This meant turning teams with expertise in grocery into intuitive fashion thinkers, teaching them the practical hands-on skills needed to deliver and manage a credible fashion offer instore.

Working closely with Sainsbury’s Learning & Development department, we developed a bespoke training programme that was a true exercise in capturing hearts and minds. Regional coaches, clothing managers and store teams came together to discover how to become VM champions instore.

Helping to guide them every step of the way, we developed supporting VM policy documents and retail operations materials. All were designed to extend their usefulness beyond seasonal fashion changes, making them an indispensable part of everyday life for store teams.

The result of our work created a superteam, collectively informed, motivated and engaged in applying the look-and- feel guidelines consistently and effectively, and seamlessly weaving new VM fashion policy instore.

Putting the focus on delivering signature store standards, like never before.
